VArt is an international art center and artist residency in Värtsilä, North Karelia, Finland. It offers artists time, space, production possibilities and a supportive environment for focused work, research, experimentation and cultural exchange.
Rooted in solidarity and shaped by collaboration between artists, local residents, cultural organisations and international partners, VArt connects artistic practice with material knowledge, place and community.

Intensive workshops in sculpture and ceramics
VArt offers two-week intensive workshops for artists, art students and creative practitioners who want to develop their skills through hands-on material practice.
Participants work on their own projects with access to studio spaces, tools, materials and kiln facilities, supported by individual mentoring and professional guidance. Workshops are available in sculpture and ceramics, in both individual and group formats.
